How DSA-Monitor handles data, and how to opt out of anonymised usage statistics.
General
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process your personal data only in accordance with the legal data-protection provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz, DSG). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of the data processing carried out within our website dsa-monitor.at.
Data controller
The controller responsible for processing is the association "Österreichisches Institut für angewandte Telekommunikation" (Register of Associations no. 922972340), reachable at Ungargasse 64/3/404, 1030 Vienna, by telephone at +43 (0)1 595 21 12 (9 a.m.–5 p.m.), and by email at office@oiat.at. Where we refer to ourselves ("we") in this privacy policy, this means the association "Österreichisches Institut für angewandte Telekommunikation".
Scope of this notice
This privacy notice describes how DSA-Monitor (dsa-monitor.at), operated by OIAT, processes personal data when you visit this website.
Server logs
When you access this website, our hosting provider records standard access logs including your IP address, requested URL, browser type, and timestamp. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes and are not used for profiling.
No tracking cookies
DSA-Monitor does not set tracking cookies and does not use cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
Your rights
Pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request confirmation as to whether we process data concerning you, and to obtain information about this data as well as further information and a copy of the data.
Pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to request the completion of data concerning you or the rectification of inaccurate data concerning you.
Pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to request that data concerning you be erased without undue delay, or alternatively, pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, to request a restriction of the processing of the data.
You may object to the future processing of data concerning you at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. An objection may in particular be made against processing for the purposes of direct marketing.
Pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the data concerning you that you have provided to us, and to request its transmission to other controllers (right to data portability).
You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data. You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at). To exercise your rights, contact research@oiat.at.

Analytics (Matomo)
We use Matomo, a self-hosted analytics tool operated by OIAT, to understand how the site is used. Matomo runs without cookies and with IP anonymisation, so no personal data is stored and no consent banner is required. We do not share analytics data with third parties.

You can opt out of anonymous measurement at any time using the control below.
Opt-out control activates once the Matomo instance URL is configured.
